Honor your loved ones and preserve their wisdom with film.
“When an elder dies, a library burns to the ground.”
∞ Heads of the family should be celebrated.
∞ Professional filmmaking should be a resource for all.
Hollywood has moved into our homes.
let’s preserve the true stories of our bloodlines.
let’s treat them like the movie stars they are.
Hello! My name is Kofi King (CEO), and I am an award-winning filmmaker. I completed Columbia University’s film program with honors, and now I want to share my skills with the world.
Before Naritage was born, I documented my own grandfather. I traveled to his assisted living facility, and over many hours, we talked deeply about his colorful life.
It was in this moment that I realized: If I can be drenched in sweat, muscles cramped from dehydration, and still smiling—focused on telling my grandfather’s story—then I have something great to build. I am a filmmaker at heart, and deep down, I want to build powerful connections through visual storytelling.
Funnily enough, my father sells life insurance, so you could say that I’m following in his path. Yet, the Naritage experience is like buying life insurance, but you only pay once, and the benefits last lifetimes.
All in all, I believe that we have wonderful tools to forge lasting relationships and memories. Thus, I aim to work every day so that we can all be a part of a closer, more connected world.
We have a background in collegiate film education—and we all call our mothers! We are professionals that care about your experience.
